Cine en Versión Original - Tschick

CINE / FILMVORFÜHRUNG

Regie: Fatih Akin Erscheinungsjahr: 2016 Hauptdarsteller: Maik Klingenberg und Andrej Tschick Tschichatschow Verfilmung des gleichnamigen Romans von Wolfgang Herrndorf aus dem Jahr 2010.

Donnerstag, 23. November Beginn: 19.00 Uhr Salón de Actos de la E.O.I. de Tres Cantos

Cricket by Lewis Clark

Monday, 20th November at 17:00
cricket by Lewis Clark at  the EOI Tres Cantos

Lewis Clark belongs to Madrid Cricket Club (@cricketinmadrid). He told us about the history of the game, its rules, equipment, its cultural diversity and all the countries where it is played – Britain, Spain and also other countries such as Afghanistan, Kenya, Rwanda. Some of his stories were really moving and amazing
It was impossible to choose the best.

At the end he shared with us a volunteering project
where BelgrAID is the most significant NGO

Lewis also invited students to work as volunteers in Serbia next summer.

We had a nice time listening to an English speaker.
It was a pleasure to have Lewis Clark at our EOI.

Short Story Contest- Concurso de Relatos

“Tired of watching dull films, Bogey?”

Are you tired of watching boring films, too? The English department of Escuela de Idiomas Tres Cantos gives you the chance to become a top screenwriter for a day: use one of the sentences below (depending on your level), which have been taken from different films, to start your own story with.  The story needs to be between 100 and 150 words long depending on the level ( Basic level 100, Intermediate level 125 and Advanced level and C1 level 150) and must definitely not be based on the films where these lines appeared originally. Hollywood needs you!
Good luck, and may the imagination be with you!

Basic level 1 and 2 (100 words)
- “There’s no place like home”
- “I’ll think about that tomorrow”
- “Well, nobody is perfect”

Intermediate level 1 and 2 (125 words)
 - “Go ahead, make my day”
- “I’m the king of the world”
- “I don’t’ want to survive, I want to live”

Advanced level 1 and 2, C1 level (150 words)
- “Money won is twice as sweet as money earned”
- “Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn”
- “I’m going to make him an offer he can’t refuse”

WHEN?

- Week 18th- 21st April - Short stories will be handed in this week.
- Week 24th - 27th April - All the short stories will be exhibited anonymously for you to read and vote for your favourite one.
- Week 3rd - 4th May - The winners will be known and the awards given in class.
